Mr. Carr gets T3G certificate from Environmental Systems Research Institute
Mr. Carr was selected to attend a week of training for the Teachers Teaching Teachers (T3G) program in Redlands CA; an event sponsored by Environmental Systems Research Institute. He spent a week training with 85 other educators from around the US and abroad. The training focused on how to employ the power and flexibility of ArcGIS.com for teaching a wide variety of content in an even wider set of subjects. Upon completion of T3G, participants are expected to conduct PD events about the use of GIS in education; serve as "local experts" for states, districts, and schools; and stay engaged with the GIS education community. Carr is one of approximately 300 holders of the T3G certificate and one of three in New Mexico. See ESRI K12 School District & Statewide Licenses for more information.

Dr. DeMers was selected to get a week of training for the Teachers Teaching Teachers (T3G) program sponsored by Environmental Systems Research Institute. He spent a week of training with 94 other educators from around the US and abroad. The training focused on how to employ the power and flexibility of ArcGIS.com for teaching a wide variety of content in an even wider set of subjects. A major part of the training is to produce a group of educators who will, in turn, train other educators in these techniques through workshops and webinars. DeMers is one of approximately 200 holders of the T3G certificate and one of only two in New Mexico.
